Positive Moves CIC is as a not for profit social enterprise aiming to make positive changes to the lives of children, young people, families and communities. We provide community focused services and projects to children, young people, families and communities living in Salford and Greater Manchester area. Positive Moves CIC runs Irlam and Cadishead Youth Project, who offer creative, social, educational and recreational activities and creative play to children as young as 5 years old up to 19 years of age, diverting young people away from crime and antisocial behaviour. We give opportunities to young people and adults to engage in volunteering, training and employment in play work, youth work,  community work, sports and recreation in order to increase their confidence and skills and help them with their personal, social  and professional development. We are committed to providing safe and age appropriate activities. All our staff are trained and are CRB checked. We risk assess our activities and have all of the relevant policies/procedures and insurances. The young people we work with live mainly in the Salford area, particularly the South Locality.
